3.2.3 Synchronize

The synchronization function serves two purposes:

• synchronizing the roster (adding or removing students and teacher assistants on eLMS server according to changes in the roster of the Blackboard course).
• Retain consistency of assignments between the Blackboard course and eLMS class.

To perform this action do the following:

1. Click on Control Panel link in the navigation sidebar
2. Click on eLMS link in the Course Tools panel.
3. Click on the Synchronize button. Screenshot

After clicking the Synchronize button the system responds with a report. This report contains information about the success or the failure of the roster synchronization and lists all courseware assignments that are either added or removed from eLMS.
