eLMS Blackboard Building Block
3.2.2 Disable eLMS

If the instructor who originaly enabled eLMS for a course wishes not to use it anymore, (s)he can disable it by performing the following actions:

1. Click on Control Panel link in the navigation sidebar.
2. Click on eLMS link in the Course Tools panel.
3. Click on the Disable button on the bottom of the page. Screenshot
4. Decide whether you want to remove everything from both Blackboard and eLMS. Screenshot
5. Click Submit.

When disabling the building block for a particular Blackboard course the instructor has two options:

• Make all eLMS assignments for the selected course unavailable.
  This allows the possibility to restore an unintentional disable operation by re-enabling the building block later. In this case the delivery records on eLMS will stay intact.
• Remove the eLMS assignments from Blackboard completely.
  eLMS courseware assignments will be removed from all Blackboard content folders and so will be all their linked assignments from eLMS. If the instructor chooses later to re-enable the eLMS building block there will be no assignments on Blackboard or eLMS for this course.
